The Mealtimes Method has been developed by Dr Kyla from research into feeding children and decades of experience working with families in-clinic and online.

Our approach is grounded in the Division of Responsibility in Feeding, developed by dietitian and family therapist Ellyn Satter. The core idea that parents provide the structure of meals and children listen to their bodies has informed best practice in paediatric feeding for decades. This framework helps reduce mealtime conflict, supports self‑regulation and protects a child’s long‑term relationship with food.
