E-Books Reintroducing Dairy Foods to Babies and Toddlers

This E-Book is a step-by-step guide to help you add dairy back into your baby or toddler's diet. It's suitable for use from 9 months of age, or when your doctor has suggested trialling reintroduction.

The guide features two pathways- the fast route and the slow route, both using simple recipes or common Australian grocery products (no Malted Milk biscuits required!)

This guide is for children with previous symptoms of non-IgE cow’s milk allergy (sometimes known as Cow’s Milk Protein Intolerance) who have been told it is safe to trial re-introducing dairy foods at home.

Reintroducing Dairy Foods to Babies and Toddlers Please note

This approach for reintroducing dairy foods is NOT safe for children who have an IgE mediated cow’s milk allergy. This includes children who have had a positive allergy test for cow’s milk protein, or children who have experienced swelling, hives, or anaphylaxis from dairy foods. It is also NOT safe for children with FPIES (Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome) to dairy.

The resource has been developed in conjunction with the dietitians from Advanced Dietitians Group.
